Come on you Crues!

Congrats to Crusaders for their outstanding performance yesterday in beating the Eirtricity front runners Sligo Rovers 2-0 yesterday in the Setanta Cup! The only negative point being that it should have been 3-0. I believe this is the first time Sligo have been beaten this season. It was obvious that Baxter had planned very carefully for this match, resting 9 of his first team against C.ville last week with an eye on this game. Nice to see the Setanta being taken seriously. Its a great competition and we should keep it going. Once again the Crues revealed their Cup winning pedigree with a performance that echoed their glory days in the old All Ireland competitions of yester year. Keep it tight in the second leg and they should be through to the final.

Great result and genuinely hope you win the Competition.

Should be a cracking Irish Cup Final too.
D Rainey is in some form at the moment but its how you cope against the Blues when down to 10 men will tell the difference. Expect Coates to last about 25 minutes.

Great result, but it is only half time in the tie. It'll be a big ask down there, Sligo Rovers are at least League 1 level and would probably do alright in the Championship in England. That said, the Crues are in a great position and very well done on the performance. How come they always bet annihilated when they play the Blues ?

I assume if it's a Derry v Crues Final it'll be at Windsor ?

Wouldnt think that Sligo would be as anyway close to Charlton or the Sheffield teams. Blue Square at very best in my opinion

They were unlucky in last years Irish Cup final against the Super Blues but have a feeling that they might beat us this year, for once.

Setanta Final will be at Windsor if the Crues win

PEOPLES CLUB:
"I assume if its a Derry Crues final, it'll be at Windsor" >>>>>>>>>>>> Do you think any Derry fans, apart from Marty of course, will be allowed to attend given the disgraceful behaviour of their fans when they were last there a few weeks ago? People are catching on to the truth about the Derry fans despite the vigorous attempts of the media to keep it quiet or deflect it. Brandywell is now becoming a bye word for thuggery and violence. Their reputation is almost as bad as the GAA. Havent we been told that its only Prods that do that sort of thing?

I don't know mate. All football clubs have the potential to attract a certain element that like to turn up for big games or contentious matches. All I know is Setanta agreed to have the Final in NI whenever another Irish League side made the showpiece. As things stand it looks that way so I would imagine Windsor will be the venue. Ballymena is the only other decent venue in between but I can't see it.
