We know he is past his best and doesn't turn up or care for certain games but his performance in the CL this season and against Spurs makes me wonder if we aren't being stupid to let him go. Imo we should give him a two year extension if that is what he wants especially if he can help us get to the CL finals.

I'd say keep him even if we don't get to the finals, haven't we been keeping Torres for over a season now? He can't do any worse than Torres, at least we can use him him for cup games and sparingly in some league games like Utd do with Giggs

I think he was trying to break up play and slow the game down a little. Barca do the same if they are leading.

That´s exactly what he was doing. Some people might not like it but it was an attempt to disrupt the Barca players and stop them playing their flowing football.
When you play against Barca you need to use every trick in the book and that´s what Drogba was doing.
