A little light relief

perhaps this shower of players should watch them, to understand what this club is all about. and what it means.

I was there on both occasions. Grimsby was a great day, getting to the ground at 3pm with scrummy fish and chips in hand, and no problem with admission. Can you imagine that happening at the KP? They were well digested when Muzzy performed his magic.

I was with my new girlfriend at Wembley when Stevie scored. She was checking her watch at the time, and couldn't understand why everyone was so excited. She's still dozy, but we're still together.

Watching Muzzy's goal, I couldn't help but think about how quickly things can change in football and where poor old Grimsby are now – half way down the conference.

It also reminded me of the wonderful rage fuelled rant by a Grimsby fan written just after they went out of the league.
Of it's kind, it's the funniest but also the most heartfelt thing I've ever read. It comes the closest to capturing what we all feel about whichever club we support.
