We have a real problem with defenders, I think.

Marc Wilson is a must, not only is he playing really well for Stoke, but he can play all across the back for and in centre mid. But he is still young of course so theres traps excuse for not playing him.

Wilson might be a must for you but, given he has not much in Traps plans lately, I wouldnt hold much hope for him.

But we definitely have a weakness in central defence. O'Dea is not great (even Leeds dont want him) and Kelly is not a centre back.

But I reckon Dunne will be fine. The press are mad for any story related to the Irish team these days. Have a look at the story about what colour jersey we'll be wearing in our matches.

Why do you think you have defensive problems? You seem to have been reasonably tight in all the recent matches. Why the sudden panic?

Our defence has been very tight, but we are all very scared that O'Dear may be let back into the side!

Think you're being overly pesimistic. Im sure Dunne will be fit and fine. Hes done wonderful for the Republic in recent matches, as indeed have most of the defenders. Not a big Trapp supporter, but one thing Im sure he does know about is defending, so Im certain you'll be OK on that front. If you want to worry, I would worry more about the strike force and the apparent loss of form by players like Doyle, McGeady and Lawrence.
