Kasper

Actually, this doesn't surprise me. When Spurs signed Brad Friedel I thought he was well past his best and they should have sought a younger, more agile goalkeeper. His reaction time was much slower than in his Blackburn days (understandable, given his age) and I thought at the time Spurs would pay for this. I reckon I was right. Whilst he is still outstanding in many respects, there is no doubt his inability to deal with some efforts has cost them dearly.

The same could be said, I think, for Cech and a move for Kasper by Chelsea cannot be ruled out. Both Friedel and Cech have the advantage of height on their side but I have studied them both of late and I believe the decline is just beginning to set in.

I thought Kasper looked less than secure at times in the latter half of the season. I don't think he is the really top quality keeper the likes of Spurs and Chelsea will be looking at.

I wouldn't be that concerned if he did go to be honest. I would be more bothered if NP was shown the door by the owners.
