I can't get no (du du du) satisfaction

But I decided to have a go with this post. My first with over 100 replies too (so proud).

100 replies BandW but 90 of them were the normal nonsense from opposition fans.

Interesting seeing how gormless other fans are in general. We always said we had a knowledgeable group of posters on the old 606 Rovers board and this season has shown we are right as numpty after numpty have demonstrated a total lack of insight and understanding.

Yeah SKA did post a few too many times it has to be said

Aye to be honest I figured the usual nonsense would be spouted, I just fancied having a dig at them now its pretty much it. They need someone to tell them they're stupid, even if it barely penetrates down to their pea-sized brains.

It is always easy to castigate another fan or club! Most of these people who post, have changed their managers with regularity over the last couple of seasons. Our long suffering fans have vented their anger and rightly so,as whats happened to our club verges on the insane and its heart rending to see your club being dismantled piece by piece and a spin doctor(kean aka Comical Ali) saying no problems, we will turn it round.

By the way, I don't know why you posted on the Celtic board, despite being a member of our squad in the mid 1980s, Steve Kean wasn't good enough to play for us and never made one single appearance. I'm just saying, my fellow supporters do not stick up for Kean because he was a squad member of Celtic, rather a lot of them do it just to WUM some Rovers fans. Six Premier League managers have some form of connection to Celtic, so this further suggests that we do not stick up for Kean because of his association to our club.

If you want my personal opinion, I believe Kean is a terrible manager but you need to think about this. Kean probably should be sacked, but shouldn't more anger be directed to the board of directors who persist with him, rather than Kean himself? The fact that this very same board reportedly believed that relegation from the Premier League did not exist, shows how out of touch they are with the British game. It tells you that they are only in it to expose their brand, which in hindsight is either very foolish or quite smart whatever way you look at it. The negative publicity has certainly given their brand a bad name, but then again I didn't know who they were up until the negative publicity anyway.

How can the Venkys spend very little in terms of transfer fees, yet in June 2011 announce a loss of over £18million?

It makes no sense at all to me. Whilst my own club, raises more money than a lot of EPL clubs through having a larger stadium capacity and a lot of merchandising, we could only dream of the millions received in television income. I'm not great with finances, but if you receive up to £40million a year through TV money, as well as income through merchandising and ticket sales, yet spend very little in terms of transfer deals (only Formica and Rochina, during the Venkys' first season) how do you stand to lose £18million? And won't this problem get worse if you are relegated?

Yes, I believe the abuse Steve Kean receives is a bit over the top, but his managerial record shows that he criticism is justified. But I think that supporters need to demand more answers from the Venkys, the finances don't add up, and it is something which will only get worse if you are relegated.

I take your point that we should take our anger to the board of directors but their is one small problem with that we don't have any Venky's control the club from india and have only been over 3 or 4 times .No chairman No board and a manager who can do anything he likes cos there is no chance of him being sacked.

Good post Henrik. As I said at the start of the article ideally I would have liked it to go on every active PL board, I didn't single Celtic and Arsenal out to be mean, was just the only realistic option.

Believe me its been thought about. But I think you're underestimating just how pig-headed, prideful and stubborn Venkys are. Our fans (rightly in my opinion) figured attacking Venkys from the off would only irritate them and cause them to dig their heels in further. The idea was we can improve things at least slightly by getting rid of Kean, and we don't have to create this us-against-them scenario with Venkys in doing it.

Didn't work obviously and eventually we turned against Venkys as well. But I think the thing that wound us all up wasn't that people were sympathising with Kean, its that they were making excuses for him. It was always:

"Blackburn are losing because of the fans and Kean's doing all right"
not
"Blackburn are losing because Kean's a bad manager, but maybe the fans aren't helping"

Its all pretty much a moot point now anyway, just fancied having a go before we join the lesser inhabited Championship board.

So you're telling me there is no representation, at all?

The Venkys truly are pathetic, and as a fellow football supporter I sympathise. A football club is very important for a community, especially in a town such as Blackburn.

It said: "As part of the directors' assessment of going concern they have prepared detailed cash flow forecasts for 18 months to the end of June 2013. These forecasts indicate that the company will require significant funding in addition to the current facilities available to the club.

"The amount of additional funding required will be dependent on the net proceeds of any player trading and availability of bank facilities.

Those quotes from the Venkys tell you that even if Kean is removed and a competent manager is appointed, their best players will be sold.

The thing that angers me most of all we have players who are not allowed to play or been sold cos of playing bonuses Venky's are stopping them from playing utterly crazy

Cheers Henrik. I can honestly say yours is one of the few comments this season from opposition fans that I have found of any interest at all.

"I'm not great with finances, but if you receive up to £40million a year through TV money, as well as income through merchandising and ticket sales, yet spend very little in terms of transfer deals (only Formica and Rochina, during the Venkys' first season) how do you stand to lose £18million? And won't this problem get worse if you are relegated?"

Much will get worse if relegated!!! The whole company will be immediately downsized.

Re the finances: We swallow everything that comes in due to the huge percentage (over 80%) spent on player salaries. We lose money and need subsidising each season either with outside investment or by making money trading players. We struggle to buy established PL quality at times and look to the expertise of our management to buy wisely with what we have available.
