Obviously our Spurs team only seems comfortable these days in a 4-5-1 as Lil Luka is a bit too lightweight to play as part of 2 in the midfield.
Yet I am wondering what is the best formation in the game?
442?
4231?
433?
451?
Look at Real Madrid, arguably been the best team in the world this season and they have played a 4231.
Last season Barca were unstoppable in there 433 yet (since Fabs arrival) looked a little weak trying to accommodate him in a 343.
Utd are doing what they always do brilliantly in a 442 (almost a 451 when defending thanks to Wazza)
Obviously Chelsea are formidable (when Atkinson is available) and they play a 42311 <bitter>
And Arsenal play there best ball at 433
Now which formation do you think is the best?
Best formation?

I didnt think Defoe was that bad. It really does my head in that they never play the ball early to him when the back 4 are out of shape. Always have to beat a man so that he has to outmuscle and jump two CBs

Brad Pretty accurate, however it makes Bale look like he had a good game which he didn't.
And I agree that Defoe did what he could Edin. He should never have been made a lone striker, least of all when the wingers weren't getting in positions to cross to him.

if we need a point last game of season then i want us to play a 11..0...0 system and all just stand in front of our goal ....................

Only way for Bale to be effective with roaming is on the right wing, least then he can just hit the ball with his left foot instantly
