There has been a massive debate about whether Kenny Dalglish should stay as manager as well as who should replace him should he leave, with most people saying Rafael Benitez should come back. I should say that even though this season has been bitterly disappointing and immensely frustrating in the league I think Dalglish should have at least another season in charge.
Now having said that, I have made this article to get the opinions on this little idea that I have had, it may be genius or it may be completely idiotic, most likely the latter. If the owners want to persevere with a director of football position, what about having Dalglish in that role with Rafa as the manager?
Although I have already said I want Dalglish to have another season in charge, I still can't help but feel that Benitez left too soon and was unfairly treated by the club and media at the time. So I wouldn't mind either to be in charge at the club.

For what he did in the city outside of football, he deserves another chance

Sounds good to me OP!
it's a way to keep Kenny at the club but get a better manager in.

If we need a new manager, lets think for the future and get someone new

Kenny should stay but the owners surely will have to help him with a small transfer budget between 30 to 35M . However i guess he has to show results in return. He has to have target set eg x number of points after y number of games. By Christmas time the club/ owners have to make a final decision if targets have been achieved or not.
If by Christmas you have the same number of points like last Christmas , a new manager must come in with another transfer budget given to get a few players in January transfer window. Rafa is not the only 1 available , I'll definitely go with the no ex manager policy.

I dont want brittish managers again with their hoofball tactics or brittish headless chicken players.
I want a latin manager who understands the game and has an eye for buying spanish/french/argentine creative players in the mould of silva/aguero/nasri.
yes rafa anytime for me.
did you saw arbeloa who played fantastic against one of the best world club teams in the world and alonso.
with rafa we would atract spanish class players.

I honsetly believe that we just need a bit of turn of luck, not a new manager. The goals will come flooding in once we stop hitting the woodwork etc. It is killing our confidence.
