What do you think?
He played 44 games for us in the 09/10 campaign due to injuries to Aurelio, and the failure of Andrea Dossena. He seemed to be thrown into the deep end, and many fans got on his back about subpar performances.
He's then shipped off to Turkish giants Galatasaray, but seemed to be messed around with. He played 19 games, and was left in football limbo by their new manager Fatih Terim.
He returns to Liverpool after what can be said was a poor loan move for the lad, but at the age of 22 he still has time on his side. We have seen what Kenny has done for Jay Spearing who is of the same age, who at the start of the season seemed set for a Liverpool exit. Kenny has helped turn around Spearing's career at Liverpool, and he is now a valuable backup player.
It was reported that Insua was interested in playing for Kenny, and would be happy to stay at the club. Should Insua be given a second chance, and maybe be used as a squad player to help out at left back where we have struggled?

I really hope so. I like Insua as a player and why spend the money on a LB when we have a good hungry one?
Buy a winger.
Insua needs to up his concentration level but is a good player.

He also needs to up his not being 'slow as a hippo tied to a mountain' level so he doesn't get skinned by players with 4 pace (using Football Manager ratings)
If he's lost weight and can put in a short burst then I'd be glad to have him back, he is a good player.

Perfect, don't you need a left back or 2?

I hope so. Down to Kenny though. He had a decent time with us. Before his injury he had one of the best assist rate for a full back and we had one of the best clean sheet rates whilst he was playing. But you'll always get some fans who like scapegoats and come up with unfounded judgements like he's slow and got skinned loads!

Or you'll just get stattos who will say a player is good just because he plays for Liverpool.
The lad looked to have a lot of potential but didn't come on as quick as we all hoped, he was defensively frail, and was definitely lacking in pace. If he's improved on those faults in his game then he'd be a welcome addition to the squad, because he was great going forward.
What part of that says scapegoat?! Try taking off the red-tinted specs chief

I mentioned this in another thread regarding Insua. His lack of pace is a big matter of concern. The opposition teams began exploiting our left flank as they saw him as the weakest link.
He does have a good cross and is great going forward. But can you expect a 22 year old to improve on speed?

Played in Malaysia game. What'd he do provided two assists. Point proved.

N'Gog also scored twice. Point proved.
