I missed the post match interviews. What did he actually say.
Was it something along the lines of saying
'well done invanovic, how does it feel to miss the final'??
Thanks for keeping me in the know!!
Geoff Shreeves - What did he say?

It says a lot that he was able to do that – and he apologised to his team-mates and the fans… at least he was big enough to do that!
-----------
He implied that Sanchez turned into his knee and it all looked worse than it was.
Idiot, he clearly knees him in the back.
He is not apologising for his actions.... He is apologising that he got caught!!

How many other players do you think would face the media at that point?
Yes he might be trying to put the best light on it – but he was big enough to say he had let people down and was sorry.
He knees him in the back? Wasn’t it more in the bum?
As for only apologising because he was caught and punished… I think you are being a little harsh there. What level of integrity are you really expecting from players? I think it is unrealistically high. He has admitted he was in the wrong, that he can understand the ref’s decision and isn’t arguing with it… you can read between the lines all you want but I wonder what he would have to say for you to actually be happy with him, and whether you put that level of judgment on other players.

2 things I would have wanted but never expected.
''I apologise to Anton for my racist comments''
and
''I apologise I tried to use dirty tactics to get ahead''

Shouldn't that read 'to get head'?

OK – he denies the racist comments…
You want him to apologise for something he hasn’t done? That I think is expecting too much.
As for using dirty tactics to get ahead… do you apply that criteria to everyone and judge them equally as harsh?

Only to the people that deny it. Both times Terry came out because he was caught on camera doing those things.
Lets not get into the terry argument because that's like Liverpool fans saying he is innocent aswell.
Just because you are saying you did it, doesnt make it an acceptable apology.
I thought that point of apologising was to apologise to the person who was on the receiving end.

Not sure which incidents you are on about – the racism one he has not been found guilty of racial abuse and so at this moment in time is innocent. Shall we just leave that one there for now – if in the future he is found guilty then you can criticize him for it – right now he is innocent. If he is found not guilty presumably you will make a public apology for being wrong and for any harm you have done to his character.

Is he sorry he did it? He has apologized for doing it…

So presumably you want every player who ever dives to go up and apologise to the person who he dived against? And the referee for conning them? And the FA for acting against the integrity of the sport? Many people think Fabregas dived last night – should he apologise? The person who Terry kneed – he made more of it than there actually was, under the rules of the game he dived – should he apologise?

I love the fact you has just clumped Suarez and Terry together... that is so ridiculous as the two cases are completely seperate.
If Suarez is guilty then Terry is too?
Unbelievable...
