Bayern a tougher final?

Hi Chelsea fans, spurs fan here in peace.

I know some of you may be relieved not to have to face Madrid in the final because of the obvious quality within their team but I do think Bayern maybe the tougher draw.

From my experiences of watching your team I know Chelsea play a fairly narrow game and the pitch at Stamford Bridge is fairly thin for that reason. Real's wingers are players who tend to drift in rather than out much like yours so in my opinion you'd have found it easier to contain them.

Bayern on the other hand play with a fair amount of width due to Ribery and Robben being their two main attacking threats. This is where the advantage of playing in their own stadium might help Bayern as the pitch will obviously be wider to play to their strengths.

I'm not writing you off by any means, but just wondered whether you agree on the above points.

Ribery on left, right footed.

Robben on right, left footed.

Unibrow Vs Scarface...let the battle begin

I understand that they play on their unnatural sides but they play with the license to switch wings. This is where the width surely comes in?

It's not a dig so why the defensiveness

No defensiveness, its just that in my opinion Bayern play with inverted wingers, like Real Madrid.

I think problems might arise if we allow their fullbacks to get forward especially as we're missing our main defenders.

Madrid's team scared me, i think they would've beaten us. Bayern, whilst clearly a good team, do not invoke that fear that they might be uncontainable.

I feel that if we can beat Barca we can beat Bayern.

I personally didnt see anything from either side that spurs man city napoli etc dont have and we beat all of them this season

Barca are a class above both teams and i fancy us to win it regardless

Not sure, we've had to deal with some tough wide players this season, but no doubt Ashley Cole will be on the top of his game. Just hope Bosingwa is ready, but if we play Kalou on the right we should be fine as he is good at tracking back.
Bayern also missing three good players, so its the best final possible for us

This tie proved that Bayern are more than equal to Real, both in attack and in defence. If anything, this tie showed that Bayern's midfield is actully better than Real's

Add the fact that the game is at the Allianz Arena i.e. they will know the pitch, most likely more Bayern fans than Chelsea fans in the stadium and outside the stadium there will be far more Bayern fans, the game is effectively Bayern away rather than Real neutral

Therefore I believe Bayern is actually the tougher game

What's tougher: Bayern over one leg or Barca over two?

And no, Barca haven't become sh@t overnight.
