Ignore these stats. They were cherry picked by a terrible blogger at liverpool-kop.

Aquilani has 34 appeareances this season for AC and has 1 goal and 8 assists. He's a CM, not an AM or a forward.

To put it in perspective,

Alonso has played 49 times this season and has 2 goals and 9 assists.

Using this guy's logic, that means Alonso is also rubbish because he has only scored twice and got 9 assists. The stats have no relevance to what they actually do on the pitch. We all know Alonso is an excellent footballer.

Aquilani is a very good footballer but I don't think he wants to play for Liveprool anymore so I don't think he'll come back.

Has anyone seen Modric stats? we could go on forever.. Hendersons stats last season were better than Modric for example

aqua could be the creative spark in the midfield we need. i think kenny will give him a chance but its whether he wants to stay in england for another year
