Big Hello to JA606 Members

Hi Everyone

Was an avid viewer of the BBC 606 boards that are no more. The humour, wit, intelligence, stupidity, sincerity and raw emotion coupled with more than a smattering of dry sarcasm gave my life and religion (Derby County) reason and purpose. That it is now pending extinction has left my cerebral cortex and nether regions dank, limp and devoid of stimulation. That said, the slight levitation that I am now experiencing in the groin region after registering with JA606 has put my rickety existence right back on track.

I'm sure we all feel the same way.

Well, similar.

I feel the same too (I'm a Reading fan).

Seeing as Vietram is a Derby supporter, I'd just like to mention the following article before it disappears altogether from the BBC 606 service ...
This for me was the best article ever to appear on 606 - still brings a tear to my eye.

Just look at the 1,300+ Five-Star votes and you'll see it's something special ...
Read through the comments from the beginning for unanimous applause during poster after poster... THIS is the essence of a national football forum, not the silly 'squabbling' that you see oh too often !

daib0 that Derby member is still posting today. I'll tell you a little story about it. When I read it, I posted it all over the main boards on BBC 606 so members from other teams could see what a great story it was. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I did as well.
All the best in the play-offs mate, I've got a lot of time for teams who play football on the floor, how it should be played.

good on you baseball reg - I also helped with a grain of salt in my own little way!
Got to tell you we're excited but already pretty nervous in the Reading camp - SO much rides on this!

Tell me about it, we were there 3-4 years ago against West Brom, we didn't play particularly well that day, but sneaked it 1-0. me and my mates and the fans around us, were just biting our nails, whistling for the final whistle. The euphoria afterwards was unreal. I will never forget that day. We have won there and have lost there in the final. The other one being against Leicester, where we absolutely played them off the park, and their centre half who they made into a striker that day nicked it for them. Like I say what comes around goes around, (it's a true saying)
All the best mate, not because we are talking, I honestly thing you will beat the Swans in the final, and will be in the promise land next season.
