Pep according to the press

Where is Pep heading next ?

After reading a couple of threads here , I went through a couple of papers and try to gather what Sports journos think. Must say it is even more confusing now.
But here is what i've read so far :

Mirror -
Name your price: Chelsea will try to buy Guardiola out of sabbatical if he quits Barca

But there is a danger that a club like Chelsea, in particular, will miss the point of a man like Guardiola.
He would not be able to transform a club from playing direct football to tiki-taka overnight.
He is not a quick fix and let’s face it, the West Londoners only seem interested in quick fixes.
They tried for a change in philosophy with Andre Villas-Boas and look what happened to him.

-The Barcelona coach is Arsene Wenger with trophies, sticking faithfully to a philosophy of playing beautiful football AND delivering silverware

-Arsenal would probably be the best fit for him if he chose to turn his back on the idea of a sabbatical.
And Wenger is already being mentioned as a possible successor to Guardiola at the Nou Camp.
If it ever happened, it would be the most elegant swap in the history of football.

Mail :

Sportsmail exclusively revealed in March that the interim manager had emerged as a contender to take on the permanent role.

Di Matteo has strengthened his claim by leading Chelsea to the Champions League and FA Cup finals and the merits of handing the Italian the job will be discussed despite the possibility of Guardiola becoming available.

He is having a press conference in about an hour's time and i'm pretty sure we will still not get an answer as to where he is heading.

So what do you guys think ? Where would he be going next in a year or 2 ?

everyone seems to be ignoring the possiblity that he will do a ronseal and do exactly as he says.... take a year or two off.

He'll be the next England manager. Failing that, he'll go to Liverpool.

England is even ready to offer him a consultant job if he turn down the offer.

If Kenny does not get 40 points by Christmas , he is will be sacked. You don't have an open position at the moment.

where ever he goes next Pep cant take the Barcelona Academy with him. Without it he will be average.

Let him go to Chelsea to be next in a long line of failures there.

It would be typical now of RA to discard the first Chelsea manger since Jose that actually looks like he could, in order to pi55 his money up the wall on yet another big name prima donna.

Widely acknowledged that he will take a break from the game. To speculate, maybe if he gets that hunger back, and they don't succeed with a new manger after his break he will end up back at Barca?

His admission that he didnt know how to break 10 man Chelsea down was quite startling.
Watching that game I just didnt understand how Barca just kept wanting to play through the middle of Chelsea. There was barely any attempt to stretch the play and make the pitch as large as possible at all which is what you're taught as a kid to do when playing against an ultra defensive team, let alone 10 men.

Massively surprised.......
