Ive been training for about 3 years now and my workouts include various bodweight exercises, such as pull ups, chin ups, dips. Now the thing is,i have developed a fair amount of strength on all these movements(30kg Pull ups x4 reps/30kg chin ups x5 reps/40kg dips x5 reps),and i was wondering instead of adding the weight using a belt, would it be more better to get a vest so the weight is spread evenly on the upper body. Also if i used a vest i could i perform squats or deadlifts with them aswell?
Any suggestions would be good.
My stats:
height 5'9
weight 66kg
age 21
Weighted Vests any Good??!

Tbh i didn't even know these existed! Link?
I've tried weighted gloves which were pretty good but I changed back because they never really felt as comfortable as my normal training gloves.

Yeh they look pretty good.
Personally i get really hot at the gym in just a t-shirt so the thought of having one of those vests over the top doesn't really appeal. But I don't see any problem in doing squats in it, I dunno about deadlifts it might restrict your movement too much.

I use the vest for rollouts, but usually use the belt when doing chinups, dips etc.
However that is because the vest at my gym is only 10kg.
All I would say is it's probably easier to change and vary the weight with a belt?

not worth the money imo, well expensive. I got a couple of dog leads padlocked them together using small padlocks and the a small bit of foam to stop it pinching. You thread the leads through the weight plates and can obviously go up and down accordingly. Doesnt matter if the weight is distributed across your torso, its hanging from your arms all the same.
