On winning the champions league?
Now hear me out first, I'm not on a wum.
If I remember correctly and I'm 90% sure on this, but all the money Abramovic pumped into Chelsea for transfers wasn't just free money but actually an interest free loan from himself which will inevitably need to be paid off when he eventually gets bored and leaves the club.
We all know how badly he's yearning for the champions league but let's say for argument sake the league table finishes as it stands now with Chelsea losing the champions league final. I think regardless of the FA cup final they will end up in Europa league next year which will be a consolation for them but not what they truly want.
A year ago we were talking of Modric trying to force a move away from Spurs to Chelsea and the big man splashed out £50m to sign Torres but without champions league football, Chelsea are going to find it hard to attract the biggest names without paying the biggest wages. With the FFP coming into force very soon, I don't think Chelsea will be able to splash out the sort of cash they have been accustomed to in recent years.
Drogba is coming to the end of his Chelsea career! Lampard will be 34 this summer and for this Chelsea side to compete once more for the illustrious Champions league will take another 2 years and a whole lot more investment from the big man.
This is all hypothetical of course, but if I'm right about the interest free loan, and if Abramovic does indeed get bored and decide to cut his losses short in terms of investing even more money to try and buy a champions league, could that spell the end for Chelsea?
Since 2005 they have operated outside their means, they spent big money on players without being able to really recuperate their costs when moving the players on and with the FFP coming into play I can see them really struggling to keep afloat with the high wage bill they have.
I could be completely wrong and talking a load of rubbish but does anyone else think Chelsea fans should be worried for when the time comes that Abramovic gets bored and then wants his money back? (assuming of course it was a loan and they haven't already started paying it back)
Could Chelsea's future be dependent...

wow...........let it all out why don't you?
I hope you don't mind me saying that it is hard to believe you did not write this article without an anti-Chelsea agenda after a rant like that.

That post should have been your article.

And for the record the Chelsea fans have demonstrated amazing compassion towards Ranieri, Mourinho and Carlo because the majority did not want them sacked.
Grant had none because the fans felt he helped manoeuvre Jose out of Chelsea
Scolari had none because he did a poor job
It will be interesting to see how much patience United show towards Fergie's eventual replacement if things do not go to plan straight away

I should add there is also amazing amount of misplaced compassion towards AVB on this forum too

Mr omelette. My article wasn't anti Chelsea in the slightest. Yet instead of people simply correcting me or informing me of my misjudgements, you've all pretty much spoken in the same condescending way like a bunch of arrogant teenagers.

We will stand by our manager because we didn't win the lottery and are in a false position.
You guys think your are better than you are and that is where the downfall will come from.
Without Roman, you would most likely be in the championship because he saved you from the brink.
Sacking managers left right and centre shows the complete lack of intelligence in the structure at the club.
What was Ancelotti's crime?

Sorry, your rant has shown exactly what your agenda was at the very start and also your solitary motivation for writing your article, by all means continue to kid yourself if you so wish, I no longer care since your prejudice is out there for all to see.

Carry on, I have no interest in engaging further conversation with people who have such pre-determined views and anti-bias, if it means you don't beat someone up on the street, then at least it does serve some positive purpose in society

Any time Abramovich is mentioned in any press or news outlet he is referred to as 'Chelsea owner'
I think you'll find he quite likes that title, it gives him a certain image & prestige
The guy is worth almost 10 billion too - I hardly think he's going to trouble himself with costs too much
Spends more on yachts houses & stuff in any year
