Team for Spurs

There's a renewed hope amongst most fans given our recent run of results, and given QPR's hammering against Chelsea even the goal difference might not be an issue. The one problem we face now however is a bit of an injury crisis.

We had a long injury list before Villa and after it 6 more names were added to the list. Many Such as NRC and Mavies were able to shake off knocks but we know that they can't be at 100%. After the Sunderland game we now have NRC looking properly injured this time and there is no news that Darren Pratley is back. On top of this Steinsson is another fresh injury to contend with although it's not known how serious.

Josh Vela came on for NRC and look assured walking the think line of how to play on your debut very well. Nothing too fancy and nothing too safe. Boyata also made it in to the team for the first time in a while and was top notch. However I am rather more skeptical of him Vs Bale.

My Team:

-------------------------------Bogdan
Boyata------------Wheater----Ream---------Ricketts

Eagles---------NRC*/Vela-----Mavies-----------Petrov

-------------------------Davies--Sordell

*If fit.

I've already said I'm nervous about Boyata Vs Bale. We all know Steinsson deals with him well and Boyata on past experience is rather easy to get past which we cant let Bale do. I'm also worried if NRC is injured we will have two attack minded midfielders in Vela and Mavies. Might reconsider Ream going in there. I would put in Sordell for N'gog because with SKD in for we don't need two target men which most N'gog advocates have hung their hat on in absence of goals. Having seen Sordell he has much better strikers instincts then N'gog and should make more of what Davies gives him.

You would be best playing NGOG up with Davies. Their combined size would cause us problems especialy when we like to give Davies a goal or 2 each time we play

Same as vs Sunderland for me.

We had several injuries before the Sunderland game but I think everyone was fit with the exception of Steinsson. Who knows he may be fit for Spurs. I never believe the injury list until the team is printed.

If we had the players available I'm sure we'd play 451, but I don't think we do.

Maybe we'll go back to the team that started against Villa?

Petrov, NRC, Mavies, Ryo. With SKD up top instead of Ngog? And Eagles just behind.
