Intresting interview on BBC Scotland it the would appear the newco way is the done thing crystal palace and Plymouth being the latest to go down that road. As it stands there would appear to be no sanctions in the way this is used infact its more or less the excepted way to help the clubs.
Would appear if rangers newco before the start of next season no fine or any other sanction.

missed the interview - i cannot believe he said that.

Does he mean that as of today, there are no fines or sanctions, but that after the SPL teams meet next Monday, there will be?

Or is he perhaps talking oot his erchie?

Or has been "got at" by Sky (who, will, as we all know, make the real decision)

If rangers newco before next season there's nuffin they can do in reality. Him traynor was foaming at the mouth would expect that to be in the record he must ave asked him a dozen times to clarify it

Coop

It is not what he said.................but its the only logical conclusion to what he said.
Basically he said the difference between a CVA and a new company is semantics as its not true liquidation. He made it 100% clear that the football club continues "no matter the number of corporate identities". I think he sounded incredulous at Jim Spence and Traynor foaming at the mouth at him.
"After you have punished a club acccording to the rules (IE 10 points) why would we prevent them exiting administration because of further penalties?"
Basically he said; if they apply the exisiting rules there is no impediment to a new company owning Rangers Football Club and re-entry to the SPL if the SPL board agree. He couldnt understand the fervour for blood.....sees through the demands for "justice". The bears are coming back!!

Like I said, Sky have had a word in his lughole and said "see that £80m contract starting next season - see that we have not signed it....."
