Pathetic BBC

"A 14th place finish for Leeds, was that really worth a change in manager?"

As for that post Clive, when you write like you just did then and comment objectively instead of clouding everything in Grayson hatred, you're a joy to read.

Even if Warnock is here for just next season and if he has a limited budget, he'd do better than Grayson.

You automatically assume the worst from Bates and the best from Grayson, so it's you who isn't being objective.

I think it was a terrible decision to appoint a new manager at the time they appointed the new manager, regardless of who that manager is. A month earlier, fine. Even if they'd just done it straight away instead of ****ing about with "Redders", that would have been acceptable.
......
Nw was sacked 8th of jan

Grayson was sacked 1st feb (the only time we lost a game in jan)

He could NOT join a club until his qpr contract was sorted.

His contract was sorted around 17th of feb

Nw, sacked by QPR around the turn of the year, is available after agreeing a financial settlement with the Loftus Road club’s lawyers this week.

Dear me.

If sg would been kept on that would been 1 more year down the pan. Even If we would got in the playoffs and we would. It have done. Any one who watched us play will tell you our chances was slim because we was playing shocking.

And if we would got rid at end of season after doing well. There would have been a storm in the summer and that would have up set all next season.

Grayson = cack & left us with an even bigger pile of cack - should have went ages ago. Clive is obsessed but in a paradoxical sort of way he has generally called it right about Grayson - the warning signs were there when we got promoted from L1 bz the skin of our teeth

Exactly right, Benny.

It's easy for fans to get obsessed about football.

Martin O'Neil wouldn't have come to us. Leicester means more to him than us and he wouldn't go there with better prospects.

I've already said in the past I don't really think Grayson was up to it, but when you're only alternative to a man who is making the best out of a mediocre squad is a short term manager with an eye to doing it all in one season on a shoe string budget, I wouldn't say it would have been better to keep Grayson, I think it's more of a case of it doesn't make a blind bit of difference who you've got.

Since Grayson went and "took his bad football with him", we've played worse, not even had much fight in the team. Our defence is still appalling, even after spending time and effort in training trying to get it sorted.

While the players Grayson signed aren't great, I don't expect Neil to do better. When half your signings come in after the season has started, alarm bells ring.

Blame Grayson if you feel you must, but he wasn't doing badly, not amazing but not bad, and he's gone now so, and we have more pressing issues than would we have done better with Grayson in charge. This article just basically highlights the problem we're still stuck with that hasn't been solved - a board with no ambition.

Graysons favourite, still trying the same old same eh?..

I posted something on a thread you started what seems like a life time ago,(well, I'm still waiting for an answer so it will be a life time ago!)

Have another look if you want, but go on, "giv us a clue". ..take a look at the 3rd side, I doubt its true but the way you talk if true then it could be a reason why you didn't get as far as you thought!..

And your love affair for this man is something like plankton after the formaler, good spounge bob knows where to hide it eh?.

"Grayson = cack & left us with an even bigger pile of cack - should have went ages ago. Clive is obsessed but in a paradoxical sort of way he has generally called it right about Grayson - the warning signs were there when we got promoted from L1 bz the skin of our teeth"

Benny, its also an argument that Grayson, all the dross everyone likes to push in his face, is it the dross he wanted to bring in or the dross that was forced on him?..I do not think he wanted his best players to leave when they did, and I'd think if he'd been backed at that time then our season could have been so different!..

I've said a few times, and I even started a bashing thread the other day, Grayson isn't with us anymore, he is now in the play off's which means he could return to ER next season, I hope he hasn't got anything to prove if he does, because if he has it'll put a lot on here in their places!..

But then, like plankton, some will never let go, but whatever, he keeps some happy!..

Only time will tell about Larry, I think he did a good job getting us out of division 1, beating Man U draws against Arsenal and Spurs. Did Larry ask for our best players to have their contracts run down or sold when there was no chance of replacing them. I do agree that Larry wasn't the best of man managers, having an affair with someone at work is never a good idea and perhaps should of got the bullet at that time.
I very much feel the club will regret not backing Larry at the correct times, with his first choice signing and very much had to put up with players he didn't want so left them to rot. I do think he should of walked if he felt he wasn't getting the backing he required. Didn't Bates once say Larry was the best manager he'd ever worked with so why not back him on the pitch rather than spending £6 to £7 million on the East Stand. Then to sack him and make sure there is no chance of the new manager having any money to spend as the transfer window was shut smacks of the club being in big financial trouble. The time of selling of our club captain at the same time of selling season ticket renewals suggest's the club were desperate for cash.
I'm still not convinced NW will be here a the start of next season. NW is making all the right noises but are the directors ?
