I think Sol is correct in that Harvey was here when Bates took over. I guess he grovelled to Bates to keep his position though. He reminds me in looks (well slightly) of HH (WW2 figure).

Clive, while we all know Warnock is the exact opposite of a yes man, do you really believe that bates isn't just THAT arrogant to think he can still control him if he tries really hard and swindles him?
