What happened today

I'm I the only one who was excited and have been checking every few minutes about our first new signing or two, didn't someone quite high up at ER say we had already got a least one new recruit ready to join us on May the first.
My Callander says it 01/05/2012 so where's is the first of many we have been promised, or was it just a ruse to get more season tickets sold, dose this mean there will not be a list of players that are to leave which I thought was due out tomorrow.
Even if it's El-Had Doif at least it would have been something.
Talking of disappointments what about Hodgson getting the England job it seems there's no good news around at all.
