An Interview with A Journo

Interesting read this, an interview with The Sun journo Martin Blackburn:

Especially this quote: I bumped into a very senior player on the car park at Brockhall last week. I can’t name him right now – though you might guess in the next couple of weeks. As we chatted he pointed at the club’s badge above the doors of the training centre and said: “F$@king embarrassing". If you knew who had said it, it would break your heart. And that is a true story.

It's been embarassing for as long as I can remember, approximately to the day THEY arrived with their Beckham / Ronaldhino / top four / CL comments and the rest.

Agree with Pie...seems a strange comment with little context if reported accurately.

I think the first moment I got an inkling that the owners might be nutjobs was when they sacked Big Sam and didn't replace him. Then they started talking about CL football and signing Ronaldinho and I knew it was going down the shítter.

Monday was troublesome for me, not sure I've ever wanted United to win a game and I'd quite like City to win the league, except for Dimgay!

The consolation is that I know he'll never truly feel what winning or losing is because he's a gloryhunting plastic defector. But still...
