Id like to say shocking what the sun went with for their headline today but nothing they do shocks me anymore.
I realise there has probably been a fair few articles created on this but im hoping I can get a concise and intelligent discussion going again.

A good appointment as far as im concerned. Although I will admit Redknapp was my preference.

I was surprised -- and a little disappointed -- at first, because Redknapp did seem like the obvious choice.
But I'm definitely warming to the idea of having Hodgson in charge. Maybe his experience of European and international football, combined with his knowledge of English football, will really count for something.

Yeh I think the general have begun to warm to him and he did a world of good during the press conference I feel. For me its his experience of International football that could really be the difference. Just hope he is a little more flexible as he is quite rigid in his 4-4-2 tactic...will have to try out other things if he is to be successful in this era of international football.
