Home form...

The reason, and I cannot express this so much, for our frankly shocking home form, worst in the league i think or one of, is the fans. I was away from the UK for a while, came back, and went to watch Forest against Donny. I could not believe my ears when I went. Booing if we passed it around at the back, booing when we lumped it forward just booing all the god damn time. My dad went a little earlier before that game and he said the fans were booing moussi from the kick off, I mean give the lad a chance for gods sake.

Im not the only one to say this is either, many of my mates actually stopped going this season because all the idiot forest fans we seem to have just boo, boo and boo some more. And whats the point? If you have a season ticket you have forked out a hell of a lot of cash for that just to get angry on a saturday. Surely you can do that at work in the week and get paid for it? On the other hand, if you have bought a match day ticket then its a one off and its cost probably 30 quid so enjoy yourself, whatever the score.

Next season Forest fans we need to encourage our players, not boo them at every chance. And for those old idiots who think Forest should be in the Champions League and the management line up should be martin oneil, stuart pearce etc, think clearly we aint what we used to be.....

I rarely hear booing to be honest, where i sit in the Upper Trent End. There are the fair share of moaners, as is the case with any team in the country, but to say it is the reason for our poor home form is a bit dramatic

Sutton is right the anger was caused in the boardroom but directed towards the players and manager(s).

With hindsight I think this has been coming for years. Poor managerial appointments and a shambolic transfer strategy have caused us to be where we are.

Billy Davies kept the plates spinning magnificently while constantly battling with the AP. His squad was dismantled then McLaren brought in inadequate replacements; SC just managed to salvage the situation.

I believe that if we can give SC enough money to bring in some new players and coaches the club can move forward next season. But unless the fans are given an indication that the club has learned from the past mistakes they will continue to be disgruntled and take it out the only way thye know how.

We have no money, period, so backing Cotterill wont be an option. We need to start to rebuild with youth and good signings from lower leagues. None of this signing 32 yr old expensive has-bins.

Get behind the team and support them if your there. We have very little to spend, if anything at all lets be honest, we need to take a leaf out of Derby's book and run the club on a shoe string now otherwise there wont be a club. And, in my opinion, we need 100% support from fans whatever happens, not this moaning crap which has spread like a disease at Forest.

I'd prefer that we run it like Swansea or Norwich or Southampton; there are plenty of examples of well run clubs without looking along the A5-2 (Nathan Tyson anyone?).

If we could get cash from Camp and Gunter being sold instead of letting their contracts run down we may be able to generate enough cash to bring in five or six more players including a twenty goal striker like Grant Holt. i.e. implement a proper transfer policy

what about beavon from wycombe wouldn't be a bad bet 20+ and he'd be cheap enough

There are slight noises of pennies beginning to drop at the CG. Keep it up.

The 'booing' for Moussi might just be the fans chanting his name. It sounds very like booing.

While I agree that booing the team is wrong, and may have contributed to our rotten home record, there's another part to this jigsaw. We were rank against Donny, and in many other home games. That's why we had such a bad home record. The team needed to score goals and win games to get the fans cheering.
