The Rovers U18 continued their impressive season to claim the north west section of the Premier Academy League after beating Man United 1-0. They will now go into a playoff semi-final against Newcastle and the winner will face either Fulham or Leicester.

They've already had Newcastle this season, they can have them again.
The problem we face is that Venky's will want to cash in on their success as soon as possible

Our U18'shave surprised me this season. I definitely didn't think they had enough quality to get half as far as they have done but they have done very well for themselves. Hopefully they all make it as they seem to work very, very well as a unit. Also because we'll need all the youth players we have to be good because of Venkean's breed 'em and sell 'em philosophy.
