We've now forced Gloucs to follow on, and with a dry day forecast on Saturday we must be favourites to get the win.
In the other 3 matches Yorks also look odds-on for the win, with the others looking draws - unless there's a contrived finish on the 4th day that is!
At the moment Kent are 4 points ahead of us, but have played a game more. We're playing the 3rd placed team, and Yorks are down in 7th. If results go our way the top 3 could look like this after this match:
Derbyshire Played 4, 68 pts
Kent....... Played 4, 49 pts
Gloucs..... Played 5, 40 pts
Hard to imagine this a couple of seasons ago... nobody wake me up now!
A Chance to Reclaim the Top Spot?

I hope you're right, but remember this is Derbyshire we're talking about!
We have to get them all out again in the second innings first and they have set-off at quite a lick....they have lost their top scorer in the 1st innings cheaply though.
Come on Derbyshire

Didnt young Kane williamson play for Gloucs last year?
Is he still with them? Looks a great batsman in the making this young kid. His match saving hundred against South africa was awesome.

Yes, yes, and yes he does look good - I like to see the kiwis do well so hopefully he will fulfill his potential.
