Hi guys,
I was just on twitter (you can find all sorts of things out there these days) to see if I could see who won "Player of the season".
So first anyone know who did?
Second, I came across this person called Kelly_TowerFM, who says "Gardner, Blake, Samuel, O'Brien, Cohen, not to be offered new contracts...waiting for club to confirm".
Thoughts? Pretty obvious?
Contracts.

Got to say, I am not surprised really. Gardner has been ok when he has filled in, but is on a rapid decline and is probably on a decent wedge.
I reckon we will save quite a lot of wonga by releasing these lot.
Gardner - 15-20k per week
Blake - 6k per week
Samuel - 10k per week
O'Brein - 8k per week
Cohen - 5k per week
Those might be miles off and unrealistic! Anyway, it would save us 50k per week x 12 = 600k per year. Not bad!

Your sums don;t add up Rowbot.
I make it 6 million per year.
The guesstimates you have made on wages could be fairly accurate and when you add on Elmanders wage estimated at 3 million per year it will certainly free up a lot of money.

Ah sweet. Really wanted Stu to win!
Yeah. At least that much I reckon Rowbot.
Just without those guys our squad will look quite different next season, and I doubt they'll be the last out of the door between now and August.

I make it £2.6 million.
50k x 52 weeks

Stuart Holden deserved player of the season. I think we were 6th or 7th when he got injured, and the rest is history. Without him we seem lost. Should not be a one man team but that`s how it`s been feeling without him.

You are right Ed.
I think i need to change the battery in my calculator (brain)
I think this is the most important transfer window that OC has been involved in during his manegerial career so far and i think he will concentrate on younger, hungrier types of players to develop.
We will need to retain a few of our experienced players to blend in with them to create a good balance.
I think we can trust him to do that.
