Is the end of Sky Nigh?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17950726

Al Jazeera Hamad bin Khalifa AL Thani from the U.A.E is the same person that has been trying to buy Man Utd from the Glaziers. Seems the PL is attracting more investment from abroad. They have some serious financial backing behind them.

Obviously Football then just goes out of Murdoch's hands and into the hands of an overseas's guy what are thoughts about this?

I for one would be delighted to see Sky go under and finally get some objective commentary instead of the constant United bias on Sky. Al Jazeera seems good from what I hear, Lesser of two evils perhaps?

Imagine how much Sky subscriptions would plummet if they lost football

At the end of the day, companies will charge as much as they can up to the point where people simply refuse to pay for it. Sure Al Jaz could probably charge less seeing as they broadcast in more countries than Sky, but would they really? The customer in the UK will pay the prices Sky charge, maybe customers won't in other countries, but that is irrelevant. If Al Jaz can charge the amount Sky do, then they will give or take. Prices for TV channels won't dramatically drop depending on the broadcaster, they all in time will continue to steadily increase.

So which clubs do they hate exactly.
================================================

Chelsea, Arsenal, Stoke, Villa to name a few

----------------------------

The media does not count as the Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea board.

I know Arsenal fans hate Stoke, and Chelsea fans hate Arsenal and vice versa, but that is not the whole media's opinion.

You seem to know a lot about the opinion of all forms of media, and the opinion of the general masses.

They currently have Premiership TV or something and have Hoddle I think as a presenter.

If anyone here needed a reason to steer clear of A J TV then look no further, just having to look at and listen to that procratinating tuat annoys the bejaysus out of me

bubbles how do sky hate chelsea?

skysportsnews did their best to push through the modric transfer last summer with their skummy representation of the story

Sky and BBC Radio Five Live certainly cannot be accused of hating Chelsea. Utterly bizarre that people can think otherwise.

Sky will never end, it's much too powerful. And it's under the umbrella of News Corporation. If sky disappeared it will be replaced with another of News Corporations subsidiaries, bearing in mind that News Corp own practically every media outlet in the Western world

Sky will end one day, nothing lasts forever and we complain about Sky because like it or not without them the premiership would not be what it is today.

By the way, the Arabs love United so much more so you might want to reconsider that.

I think you should reconsider this comment coz Middle East are either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
