I know we spent big last summer on Jones,Young & De Gea but i have a feeling its just going to be another disappointing summer.
we desperately need center midfield players, i would be over the moon if we signed javi martinez and kagawa. I think that would give us more creativity from kagawa and somebody that can take the game by the scruff of the kneck when we are struggling in javi martinez, i think it would give us a perfect balence.
what would happen to cleverlay and pogba's progress if we did sign these two? are we dreaming in thinking we could sign both these players in the summer?
what would the rest of you wanted our team to be next season?
lastly, does anybody think it will be another disappointing summer?

He'll be staying with Bilbao or joining Madrid / Barca. No chance of him coming to us.

Sahin is arguable better than Martinez, same position more or less and has been left to rot in Madrid reserves this season.
And if he thinks he will get in Barca's team ahead of Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Busuets or even Thiago, then he is an idiot. For those sugesting he could go there and play CB, he wont, he is a CM and only a makeshift CB end of
He will most liekly stay but if he decides he wants to further his career, he will have to move abroad and England will be his best bet so why cant we hope?

Have to agree with Stretford Ender, if Martinez becomes available it will be either Barca/Madrid, sad though, hes exactly the type of player we could do with, as for Kagawa, i think hes decent, but still not the "star" signing we need for our midfield....as for that quote about his new chapter at United, 12th May? Its only the 5th?

I was thinking the exact same thing, fergie has always liked to do his business early. I doubt he would want to have to make signings after the euro's, didn't he sign hernandez just before the world cup then everybody was raving about him.

Yeah it'll be really disapointing to the point of exasperation if we dont make a signing in MF Doesnt have to be Matrinez, it could be someone we never heard much of, whose been talent spotted by the scouts, a quality Midfielder or DM , not a number 10 or winger.
IMO Cleverly/pogba will be fine, were gonna need multiple players competing for those positions - its like when we tried to replace keane, look at all the players that we tried (the 2 Djembas, Alan smith, O shea, Miller, Kleberson, Hargreaves) before Carrick took over .
