There is no way of underestimating the importance of our last 2 fixtures.
Forget Newcastle, let's put them out of our minds (and there's absolutely no disrespect intended there) but we can't focus on other teams dropping points any more, that was for today, and we've been given a lifeline, ironically, by Norwich of all teams who came and beat us.
We go into these games FULL of confidence, thanks to a 4-1 win at a ground we simply never win at. We face a diabolical Aston Villa side, however a diabolical Aston Villa side who still have something to play for, which is sticking in my head, and then a Fulham side coached by Martin Jol. I'm trying not to be complacent here, and I know there have been all sorts of weird results this season, but IF we get the job done at Villa park, then surely with what's at stake we will have enough about us to get the 3 points.
The difference between 3rd and 4th is absolutely massive in terms of the transfer market (the 2 legged tie to get to the group stages) and the simple fact of whether 4th will be enough (Chelsea).
We all know that we should have had it wrapped up by now, but after today, there are NO excuses. Let's go and get it.
MASSIVE 2 GAMES!!!

If somehow we can finish 3rd and Newcastle 4th with Chelsea losing the CL final we will have a great chance to strengthen in the transfer window.

You're too naive Don. You can't go around thinking we've got third after we win tomorrow

Can't actually believe that the gooners didn't win it (although I heard that norwich were denied a stonewall penalty and missed a few sitters), there's absolutely no way I thought we'd have it back in our own hands 3 weeks ago. Will surely be the longest 8 days in football since 2006 when I was pretty much praying that barca would beat arsenal in the champions league final. If we blow it then I'll hunt them all down one-by-one and maim them!

Villa have been easy meat for us recently but you never know how the expectation that we win tomorrow will affect us. Also there are other games going on while we play so the villa fans will know what's happening. Could still prove tricky

Ah sorry Don I see what you mean

if any of our players are not playing with the frantic fanatisism of a team on the edge of the relegation zone tomorrow, they should not play for us again, in my opinion. we should have 11 rabid dogs out there. so that's sandro plus 10 a.n.others
