What now?

Norwich & Kyle Naughton did us a big favour today by drawing with Arsenal, so what now?

Well in my experience a team that has been performing like we have and then inexplicably have a bad run, one door shuts and then another door slams in your face.

However I think the opposite has happened here, we were despondent and down a month ago and looking at possibly finishing at best 5th and possibly 6th. Now look at us, 4th and two points behind Arsenal with a game in hand and the momentum with us.

Momentum is a great thing, if you have it then it becomes easier to win and carry on winning.......................................Wednesday night's result and today's as well shouls accelerate our momentum and confidence again.

Villa are in trouble and normally I would be extremely worried about going to Villa Park, however Villa's momentum is non existent and this is possibly the worst Villa side I have seen since I started supporting Spurs over half a century ago.

All we need to do is go to Villa Park and play our normal game, put them on the back foot from the off and try and score a couple before the break.
McLeish sets his teams up not to lose and is probably the most defensive and lacklustre coach in the PL.

Injuries permitting, the team that beat Blackburn & Bolton should start the match as they seem to have renewed vigour and confidence.

The Arsenal result today will have lifted our spirits and perversely probably made Villa players groan, because they know that tommorow Spurs will be really up for it!

My prediction is a 3-0 win for Spurs. COYS

Would absolutely love to finish in 3rd. Imagine being able to sit back and relax during the euros knowing that we don't have to qualify for the CL. Happy days. Finishing 3rd could be the biggest thing to happen to our club in years and potential push us on further.

Tbh I just want to be in the champions league again!

"I would love it, just love it if they did"

I agree with what you say about the transfer window, Levy would rather finish fifth than waste money, ...I think Harry will be with us next season, and if so, will be spending fairly big in the upcoming transfer window.

Bristol, spot on there mate ...it would be a huge achievement for us to finish 3rd

Finishing 3rd would so sweet, because it means we were ahead of Arsenal, however Newcastle finishing 4th behind us would be the cream on the cake!!

Let's be honest any players signed this summer will be Levy players not Harry players

With quite a few player sales this summer expected I can see more then the 40-60 million quoted being spent.

I like to eat the doo doo's

If we can finish 3rd then the January transfer window paid off.

You mean in terms of keeping our excitement going to the very end, when what should have been a nailed-on 3rd place finish (at least) went down to the wire and counted on Arsenal imploding?

Um, yes, it's certainly kept the end of season interesting, and thus been a huge success

kimchi..................................nice to see you are keeping your spirits high or have you not really undersood what supporting Spurs really means?? It is in the team's DNA to make sure its a roller coaster ride with highs and lows when we least expect them!!
