Tell your chairman how you feel

I keep hearing of all the fans who will not be going back as I assume the chairmen of the football clubs do.

What everyone who is going to boycott football needs to do really is Go online to your club's web page. Get the contact email address for the club. Write the email to the FAO the chairman and tell him/her You will not set foot in the ground again if the club votes in favour of a Newco being admitted to the SPL.

If 1000 fans refuse to buy season tickets at say £300 each then this is £300,000 lost revenue. Add to this all the additional revenue from inside the ground such as programs etc, the lost sales from Shirts etc and this £300,000 becomes quite a big amount. Will this amount be compensated for by the revenue generated from the travelling Rangers support ?

Even though a tv deal is in the offing, any football club still needs the fans and their revenue.

If the number of supporters diminishes does the SPL become less attractive to the tv companies ?

Yeah well said henrik, somebody said the other day what did managers do be before they got tv money.??? And the guy replied they developed and built teams, instead of just buying them!!!!

This is our golden chance to change one of the worst leagues in europe, if its not taken then i do think the fans will hold back in huge numbers, wouldnt want to be the first team to host rangers next season, which ever team it is the home fans should turn up but just not go in, stay outside with flags and scarfs that should send out a message.

This is a poor league because the lunatics are well and truly running the asylum.

If people want to blame it all on finances that is fine, but why do countries with worse co-efficients than Scotland's produce competitive title races?

We need to share the money, cut ticket prices and have more 3pm kick offs.

A Sky deal cannot be the be all and end all, of a national game.

The non-Old Firm clubs receive £800,000 a year from the Sky deal. Is that really a lot in the grand scheme of things?

When clubs sign young players at the age of sixteen and seventeen, I think they should be a bit cleverer and start introducing clauses in their contracts. English clubs are stealing them before they have even played a season.

Marky, when Fabregas was at Arsenal he signed an eight year contract, so when he wanted to leave they got £35million for him. Whereas, with Van Persie, his contract is due to expire and he will leave for a lot less.

I'm just talking at least a five year contract, with clauses.
