You might as well do it up til 2067 Earl. The lack of challenge is no use to Linfield. Ok as a supporter it's nice to see your team lift trophies but when it comes to Europe and the Setanta, the lack of quality opposition here proves to be Linfield's downfall in terms of progression. Far and away the better team today, actually took a beamer for the Crues. They must have the worst record against the Blues in local football. However, I'll put my mortgage on them winning the Setanta, they'll turn up when they are playing someone else. Congrats anyway.

Congratulations to Linfield on a great season. However, the Irish league is fast becoming a single team league and that is not good for the future of the league, if indeed it has one.

At least the Scottish Premier has had two competitive clubs in Rangers & Celtic. Should Rangers "go under" then that league will have the same problem!
