What has happened to him this season, the usually solid and consistent goalkeeper has been at fault for a lot of the goals we have conceded this year from poor decision making, bad positioning or making very silly mistakes. I don't like to speculate, but is it a case of him not wanting to be at Liverpool any more? Or is he just having a bad season?
Chelsea's first goal today was a prime example, I know there were a few mistakes leading up to the goal, but one would think a goalkeeper of his pedigree should be able to do better than he did.
Also I would like to add, Chelsea deserved it today, I personally thought Carroll should have started today and was fairly disappointed before the game to see that he wasn't starting, but hindsight doesn't really do much. If Carroll can be as good as he was today more consistently then the £35 mill price tag won't look so bad.

He was suspect last season and has got worse this season. We need a decent backup keeper to put some pressure on him.

Agree on reina but maybe he has seen the demise of the squad and thats having an effect. if it is lets go get another keeper.

The pressure of having De Gea in the Premiership has proved too much for Pepe.

He's had the honesty to put his hands up and admit that, before today's game, his season has not been good. That first goal was dire, but that's not why we lost. At times we played like 11 individuals, with no cohesion, no team spirit, not until the second half. Not good enough Mr. D. Jimmy.the.red

Was wondering this
Not jus today, but so often this season it's looked like he's just given up whenever there's a chance as if to say 'he should score so what's the use'
A few years ago he was great
But he's cost you big time this season IMO. It doesn't make sense
He's done enough in the past to warrant more time as no 1 but next season if he does badly again, surely you'd want to either sell him or drop him to the bench?

Reins has made far too many mistakes. He's been so bad I've thought to myself sometimes did he mean to let that in? First goal he should have saved and second one he dived the right way and on time but didn't stretch his arm fully.
The Pepe of old would have saved both attempts.
