With the summer transfer window coming round the corner and with fergie hopefully planning on continuing his policy of snapping up players quickly especially with the euros this summer, I wonder what united fans thoughts are of possible signings. Bearing in mind that that we will never compete with city's financial power so players such as hazard can be ruled out unless his preference is united and salary is irrelevant to him. With the names that are flying around and taking into account realistic solutions, I would be extremely happy with the following:
A)Change of formation
B) outs: Owen, berbatov,Anderson, park, scholes(dont think he will stay another season)
C) kagawa, gaitan, baines, possiby and hopefully a Martinez/m'villa defensive midfielder
De gea
Valencia Evans vidic baines
Carrick jones
Nani kagawa gaitan
Rooney
Subs: Amos,smalling,rafeal,fletcher,young,wellbeck,Hernandez, Evra, giggs, cleverly
I think these signings would be perfect and If the fourth midfielder can be acquired I would be over the moon. Like I said I think these three signings are most realistic and I believe we have to change our formation to 4-2-3-1 to suit modern football.
Thoughts guys....
Possible team?

To the original OP

Sir Alex has confirmed that Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs will be here next season, and so will Dimitar Berbatov. He will not be sold unless the fee is a good offer.
"Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs will be here next year and, unless someone makes an offer we want for Berbatov, he will, too."

Kagawa in my opinion is done deal, but we need a powerhouse in our midfield, if only there was a new Roy Keane around

Whilst I agree that Kagawa would not solve our central midfield woes, he does seem to be an extremely talented player who is available at a knockdown price. He would vastly improve our tactical options and give us a player who can get out of tight spots (something which we seem to be lacking).
A lot of people are comparing him to Park, but he's a much different player than him and I can see him vying for a place in the starting XI in a year or so, if not straight away.

Unfortunately the box to box midfielder is very rare in today's game. Schweinsteiger is one of the few very good ones, but I don't see him ever leaving Bayern.
Looking forward to seeing Kagawa here (it seems to be a done deal, I'll deserve a if it doesn't happen). Though he won't solve our midfield problems as he plays a different position, for £7m he'll be a great buy.

Park is nothing at all like Kagawa, for starters Park had very limited to hardly any footballing talent but he is exceptional team player and hard worker.
Kagawa is a very technically gifted player, a polar opposite type of player to Park
It's actually laughable people are comparing them

Exactly that's my point it's laughable, its as though just cos he's Asian they are duplicate players.
Absolutely pathetic they are nothing alike at all, I like Park he's done well for us but let's be honest he lacks any kind of ability.

seen a bit of kagawa but not enough to make any call on how good he will be at utd, but i find it laughable ppl comparing one of the best players in bundesliga for the last 2 seasons to park
