A pay as you play contract would be just the ticket for him, dont forget this isnt a starting eleven I think we will start with, just a bit of fun to while away a dull day with rain interupted cricket but half of that team wouldnt be a bad start now would it.

Seriously though yes he would be decent but i think he would want more than £15K a week i doubt he would want less than that as garunteed income.

He is a player more a like to McLeish's style, maybe Eck can sign him and Reo-Coker that 2 men as part of his wall, add Muamba and now McLeish is side is looking good

As far as the XI we simply do not know whats going to happen, we can assume that the players who can fetch over £3M and those who earn over £15K would all be shipped out apart from Carr.

But we just dont know if we get peanuts in return, i think we could be looking at 25% of whats made invested back, if its a lot less than that, well i cant see us getting Promoted plain and simple.

On that list Puncheon and Kamara could be posibilities we certainly need to be looking at that kind of level, or even like Best, Guthrie and Routledge.

Yes some would come with small fees, but we need to make sure at least half those player we sign are on the same level as those.

That could mean some frees as Kamara i think would be better than Best yet Kamara is free and Best could cost £1.5M

If Rooney and Burke are the best of the players we will sign so every other player will not be better than them that wont give us a side on paper that is better than no more than 20 other sides and thus a 5th-8th could be a challenge next season let alone Promotion.
