Well. What a perfect example of what goes on on this Forum under the disguise of being a debate. Someone poses a question. No one answers it directly but proceeds to attempt to pick holes in the fabric of what should have become a decent discussion. then, Surprise surprise, the whole point of the original posting disintegrates into mindless nitpicking, argument and ridiculous allegations.
It is no wonder that the real and original contributors to these sites now refrain from commenting or proffering subjects for debate but are going elsewhere for intelligent discussion and reading these pages a la Beano, purely for amusement.

Actually there was no preamble. The last thing I said was 'I look forward to hearing all your responses'. I mentioned my blog for those that were interested in reading my thoughts on the subject...had you had any genuine interest on as you put it

being an 'advocate of intelligent debate and substantial contributions'

then you would of posted your thoughts on the questions posed in the first paragraph of my OP and that way got some discussion going. Instead you chose to hijack the thread and fill it with what is nonsical chat about whether I was merely attempting to post for my own personal gain.

Since we are on the topic of discussing our past work..if you were an original member of bbc 606 then you would realise that I was consistent poster on it and would always partake in discussion on the football thread. Something I was hoping to do having found and joined this.

So far I have had little luck as it seems to be filled with posters who like to sit up on their pedastal judging all those around them!
