Just been to the game and have to say that "team" was almost as pathetic as the one that played against Spurs. Out of the 11, only Dunn, Robbo, Yakubu and maybe Lowe were putting effort into the fight. Modeste is the worst "striker" I've ever had the misfortune to lay eyes on, can't even kick the bloody ball, Petrovic just floors people for no apparent reason, and was lucky to stay on the pitch imo, and, despite being one of his fans, Pedersen's dead balls were more wasteful than usual.
Being stood right behind the nets as Wigan scored, it was devastating to watch. I've known this was coming for ages, but that moment was just gut-wrenching, the ball seemingly taking an age to fly to the head of Alcaraz and as it hit the back of the net I think I slipped into a state of shock. I'm gutted, but I don't even have the energy to take it out on Kean anymore.
I just pray that we can keep Robbo and the other players that are willing to fight, and that Kean is removed, as whilst this was bad, losing to Burnley twice on the way down to League 1 would be so much worse.

I agree. The sole thing I am worried about it losing to Burnley next season.

Yeap modeste is the worse striker i've seen Roberts is 10 times the player he is.It's clear why we are going down we have players with no heart and are not good enough .We are the second worse team in Premiership we don't deserve to stay up.I'm utterly gutted i expected it but it still hurts

Really sorry to see you's go down. It's a horrible feeling. Hope you bounce straight back up. Good luck from the toon.

Dunno what to say. The writings been on the wall for the last few weeks and thought I'd prepared myself for it but when Wigan scored my heart still dropped and it all became a reality.

I am a supporter of the other Rovers to be relegated this season. I have to say that I have just watched Sky Sports News over here in the States and the interview with Kean, your so called boss.
In the interview he says that HIS players gave their all for the cause tonight. If that is giving their all he was watching a different game from the one I watched. There was no effort, no pride and very little skill from a set of players who looked like strangers as opposed to a team who had been together all season.
We at Doncaster are also going down, but we at least tried to do something about a bad position by trying to bring in better quality players on low wages. It failed, but at least we gave it a try. Some say it was doomed from the start, but we had to do something.
Kean on the other hand has stuck to the same old garbage he spouted when he took over from Big Sam. Funny how they could be going in opposite directions.
I know we are hoping to get back to the Championship at the first attempt and I hope you do the same to the Premiership. You will NOT do it with Steve Kean in charge as I honestly think he is the worst manager the Premier League has seen in decades. The problem is, he does not see it that way!!!!!!!!

Yeah hope you come straight up as well i agree that Kean is the worse Premiership manager ever but it's not all his fault. The Venky's must take most of the blame i think Kean his had
very little input into the signings made and they could of sacked him long ago

I agree about the owners, but I was more conncerned that Kean thought they had done enough to win last night. If that's the case then he is really deluded. I thought when the chicken came on that Venkys had been into the emergency loan market.
