Harry's top 4 bonus

This is the only explanation I have for the utterly incredulous decision to bring scott parker on and play for a draw.

He must have been thinking about some personal incentive for getting 4th place. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

sure he would get more if he finished 3rd ?

parker didnt get close to touching the ball once did he ? so far as im concenred it was a must win game. i nearly dropped my pint when he brought parker on instead of defoe. it is the most astonishing thing i have ever seen in a football game. to act on the assumption that bayern will beat chelsea is totally foohardy and can not be in the best interests of the club. it can only therefore be that harry has something in his contract about getting top 4 in the league, imo.

I thought VDV was very poor Chronic

Should of brought Defoe on soon as the penalty went in

Spurs will beat Fulham, and WBA will take points of Arsenal.

So stop panicking, Spurs will get 3rd.

Arsenal dropped points to Norwich, so it was not a must win game against Villa. A win would have been nice, but a point is better than it could have been when Spurs were down to 10 men and 1-0 down, so at least be thankful for that.

We should of switched to a 3-5-2 and gone for it

To be fair, Harry gets slated when he goes 442, never mind 3 at the back, so he can't win.

I like 4 4 2 at home agianst lesser teams , VDV has not been as good this season and he affects how we play so much ?

What would you all be saying if we went for it and lost?

i'd have said the players werent up to it and should go. if you cant win a cup final game like this against a team in the bottom half of the league, then you arent good enough.

id pretty much say that this was the case anyway, because they should have been good enough to win in spite of the manager. as it was though redknapp showed himself as even more fallable than our so called superstar players. for me it was an outrageously incompetant move which in isolation shows that he is not up to managing a top flight football team, even aside from all his other howlers over the last few years.
