I reckon he'll give him say 4-5m and should we go up (not counting any chickens here BTW) I think he'll look for an Invester/Owner that can take us forward to the next level and make us prosper, Milans mission would then be complete if we do a norwich/southampton!!
We couldnt havee asked for a better man to take us forward than him, even if he dosnt give him anywhere near as much as that, i'll be happy as then he would be running the club properly, i'd rather us do that than overspend when we dont really have the money...like before!! As long as the team is doing well would there be any need to spend big on players who dont really give a c rap about us...again, like before. We have a team that are so together its unreal, we havent had a team like that since the days of Big Ron (1st time) and I reckon with the team we have I think we'd more than hold our own in the Championship, Im sure Dave Jones would bring in players that he feels would gel with the rest of the team and that would mix nicely wit hthe rest of the squad.
In Milan and Davey Boy we trust!!

I'd imagine that the backing would be mainly in terms of wage budget, not many clubs are spending on transfers at the moment, maybe £2m max on transfers and £3m increase in wage budget for the next few seasons.

The F.A. cup run gained some extra quids into the kitty..
..at the time it was a £ plus, but then after the Blackpool replay we lost the next 3 games.
Can't see it being any different next season..
.. money available will be money that's been accumulated, with a possible speculative injection if it looks like we accumulate more

We'd need a few decent matches against big clubs in any cup run to make it count with the bank manager I suppose? Last year was nice but the extra income didn't have made that big a difference?
I have to agree with DRY,other than a one, maybe two steady signings in the summer.
Brigg is definitely onto something with the wages bill too.
It''ll be a mixture of players that DJ knows from his past employment and loan market signings.
Our squad is solid at the moment. Our main aim should be to continue the momentum we've generated since Jones took over from Megson.
