What the hel|? If there was one man i thought would stick around it would be him. This is getting ridiculous. How many are we gonna lose this summer?
Unless of course this is just contract posturing, in fact knowing Benny it probably is.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto may seek to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.
Assou-Ekotto, 28, signed for Spurs from Lens in 2006 and is a key part of the first-team, but he has revealed he has spoken to chairman Daniel Levy about a potential move and is eager to move on to bigger things.
"Everything is possible," he told France Football. "When I met the chairman last January he told me that, if a club bigger than Tottenham came in for me, he wouldn't necessarily be against my departure.
"If there is a change at Tottenham - some more money is made available - I wouldn't be against the idea of staying, but otherwise I'll try to move forwards, as I did when I left Lens."
Asked if he would be looking to join a club that regularly participates in the Champions League, he said: "Yes. All players want to play in this competition. A few months ago, I said I never wanted to play in the Europa League because that competition is useless.
"I have a gentleman's agreement with the chairman. As he is a man of his word, I hope that will make things easier if a great club comes in."
BAE Leaving?

Great another player that could be off. So worst case scenario if we don't make CL this season, this is what our shopping list could look like:
2/3 quality strikers
2 quality CB's.
LW to replace Bale
CM to replace Modric
LB to replace BAE
New goalkeeper
Possible cover for Lennon
Either Levy is going to have to be very savy in the transfer market, or we're going to have to spend in excess of 100 million on restrengthening this squad, as I say if the worst comes to the worst.

Spurtle with those players leaving we would take close on £100m

Any player who doesn't want to be with us then close the door on the way out. We can buy better the BAE.

oddiY I think the money is besides the point to be honest. It's the fact we'd need to buy almost a whole first eleven. We've given ourselves a lot to do, and should have started buying replacements much earlier.

Spurtle
Like January for example
still we can maybe get a few loan players in, and a few out of contract end of their carreer types
you are right mate of course ...but Levy will strong it with anyone still in contract.

morse, 100% mate ...I always think what Billy Nick would have done in the situation of a player not sure if he wants his future to be at the Lane..
probably a two word answer ...of which the second word would have been "off"

oddiY seriously we need to forget the loan signings and over the hill players. I neglected to mention we'll need to replace Parker as well before long. Need to freshen our squad up big time. We'll more or less have to start off from scratch again like we did after Ramos
