The general feeling about Heskey coming back seems to very negative so with that in mind, who else would be a better signing and would they be willing to move here?

I wouldn’t mind that Jordan Rhodes fella from Huddersfield. Fryatt, Beckford and Lambert have all made names for themselves by scoring at League 1 level so he might be worth the gamble. Whether he leaves may be dependant upon how they do in the play offs. Even then they’ll probably want an unrealistic transfer fee and a PL club might take a punt so unlikely to happen.

If Heskey did come back, I'd be happy - although I don't think he will. He's not really Pearson's kind of signing and would be rather high-profile. I don't know much about Vardy, but if he is indeed a target man then he would be just the right type of purchase.
After that, keep Beckford, Nugent, Waghorn and Schlupp and you have a strong squad. I wouldn't give Vassell a new contract though; I don't think he can add anything that the others can't.

Panayiotou - I got the impression from Pearson that the Leeds game was a reward for his good season with the youth team as opposed to progression in to the first team squad for next year. I'd be surprised if he didn't play in the youth squad again next year, and even more surprised if he was brought through in to the first team squad (with only five subs) instead of sending him out on loan.
Schlupp - I think Pearson will be very cautious with him having surgery on both knees now. I'm not sure he will be ready to go at the start of the season, and it wouldn't surprise me if he went out on loan again.
Vardy - I'd be happy as an addition, but not sure I'd want him as a replacement for Beckford. Difficult to know whether negotiations are ongoing or waiting on another striker leaving.
Fryatt - I never wanted him to leave. But overall, I don't think he is any better than Beckford and not as good as Nugent.
Vassell - Difficult one considering he was actually starting to play well before his injury and played very well against Leeds. Probably dependent upon who we bring in.
I wouldn't be too bothered if we didn't sign another striker to be honest. I think we need to concentrate on bringing in more midfielders/wingers who can chip in with goals on a regular basis - Snodgrass, Whittingham, Butterfield, etc.
Rumour that we have sent scouts for the last few games to see Alan Judge at Notts County (winger).

Not seen much of him so the jury's out on that one.

Guess it may be a big step up. May be worth a trial though...

Is there any evidence of these rumours before he has a trial?

In his defence, he did get his assists tally in to double jeopary, I mean figures this treason...I mean season.
I know an unnamed witness, who can corroborate that Leicester scouts were at the scene on several occassions. But there is no firm evidence that it was to see Judge, other than hearsay...although a second witness is screaming blue murder that it was to see young Alan.

KTF1,
With respect this is all good evidence, but I might have to adjourn for a while before I can reach a verdict.

True, but I've heard he's registered more than a few penalties in his time.

I appreciate you may wish to mull over the facts about Judge, Judy...I mean Joby.
