If Batth goes back to Wolves...

...do you think that Beevers would fill his gap? If so do you think both he and Llera would cut it at Championship level?

Also regarding LB's Bennett for me is too injury prone and will only be seen as a squad player if he stays so I can see Reda cementing his place unless DJ feels a more experienced Championship level LB is required, D Jones I can see leaving as, again he's injury prone and may leave on loan to a L1 side or summat.

This summer will be intresting, personally I hope we keep as many of our loan players as possible as they can all do more than a job at that level and keep the momentum going into next season, but also adding more quality to our squad, Id also like to see another CAM brought in too so Lines will have a bit more competition and thus may raise his game even more, as for Strikers Madine will still be a starter although he hasnt played at Championship level yet (I dont think anyway), Ranger will do a decent job too but as for Lowe & COG I reckon they'll be shipped out as they havent really been part of the first team under DJ (Although Lowe was a regular before Ranger arrived) so it'll be intresting to see who DJ will bring in this Summer

Thoughts?

Hope it won't be an early bath for Batth. Think MD and ML are pretty solid if DB does go, but why would he want to go back to Wolves who it would appear are a stricken vessel. If I were DB then I would be negotiating pretty sharpish with DJ over the summer, or at least trying to avoid going back to Wolves if indeed he does have to make way.

Hope he stays though.

Other thoughts are on Jones? Whats happening to him in the summer?

It's going to be an interesting summer regarding the strengthening of the squad..

..at 29, Neil Mellor is to retire from football due to a knee problem ( not caused at Hillsborough )..

.. makes yer think.. we could have paid some money for him !.. has the Jeffers voodoo been finally put to rest, like the Manager Of the Month voodoo.

Dave Jones should get the award again , but Powell / Charlton have the same form for the month

I read the Mellor article DRY. Always sad to see any professional footballer have to hang up their boots prematurely. He's ex-Wednesday so feel sorry for the lad, hope he finds some decent medical treatment.

Te Curse will move in mysterious ways , wouldn't want to call it's next move DRY!!

Well Prof, a few days back I was browsing the interweb and saw the headline, "Francis home after scare." And for some daft reason thought immediately of FJ9!
