We'll soon be back up there when the current malaise of relativism wears out. You really do have to take a step back and ask yourself why we're having such a hard time re-signing the players who've carried us this season. This also influences potential signings who also adopt a 'wait-and-see' attitude.
OP- You forgot the most important ingredient. A penalty-winning supersub in the mould of Kanu.
