I read a three page thread on the Oatcake (Stoke forum), every poster on there wants us to stay up instead of QPR, and many of them are hoping their own team loses on Sunday.

To be fair i just like Bolton anyway!
But QPR have come into the PL and run up debts of over £45 million in under one season, in what world is that right? The only way they can get that money back is by staying up and basically cheating
Plus Bolton are a good club and have missed their best two players pretty much all season (Holden and Lee), so good luck

There are plenty of reasons:
1) They are a team of mercenaries
2) They will offer more competition next season in terms of the league and transfers/wages than we would
3) They celebrated like morons last weekend, everyone loves when other people get something ripped away from them at the last second.
4) Mark Hughes is hated by Stoke fans for his altercation with TP in the last couple of seasons
5) They have a billionaire owner who charges away (and home, for a time) absurd (£60-70) prices for tickets in their first premiership season
6) Shaun Wright Phillips
There is probably more.
