Dzeko

hallo to you all,
after watching a marvelous video on mcfc website about all the goals that we scored this season and i have to say that we scored really good goals but my point rigt now is Dzeko.

it really saddens me the drop in his form. he was red hot at the start of the season. our last match against NC dzeko was very rusty with a bad first touch and coordination.

i really hope that he stays and plays his game of perfection again.

Have also just watched all the goals so far, Dzeko featured on some of the best goals.
He needs to play in every game to get his confidence back, unfortunately for him he is only 3rd/4th choice at the moment and i cant see that changing anytime soon.

I think Dzeko has been unfortunate that when he was playing regularly, Nasri wasn't at his best, and Johnson and Milner don't deliver dangerous balls into the box. However I think Dzeko will be great player for us next season x

My fave moment was the goal at the Emirates in the cc where he and Aguero gave a perfect demo of how to break from defence with speed and purpose.

I'd love to see him reach his full potential playing for us.

For me, one of Mancini's early mistakes this season - dropping Dzeko after he scored 4 goals against Spurs. That decision was verified, as we won the next game anyway, but Dzeko is a confidence player and he shouldn't have not started the next game. That he didn't, the writing was on the wall for him, and I think he knew that. Hence his form (and confidence) never reaching the heights that he showed in the Spurs game again.

I thought that dropping / resting a player after he has scored 4 goals was a daft thing to do!

I watched the spurs game again the other day and dzeko was unplayable a stark contrast to the player we saw against Newcastle!

Hopefully a premiere league winners medal will make him feel better <fingerscrossedsmilley>

Space in the middle became rarer as the video went on. It was pure passing ability which gave us the edge. Can you imagine Jamie Pollock or Danny Mills making those passes by SIlva?

Nope. Those two would've struggled to pass wind. In fact, wouldn't it have been illegal for Mills to make a pass like that from the physio's bench?

I really like Dzeko, and when he has the confidence to use his physical attributes he is lethal. Hate the amount of stick he gets at times.

Sadly I think he has to be played regularly to get his touch etc honed, and he wont have many chances to do that with us. I'd rather he stay than Tevez as his attitude and character have seeminly been faultless.

Dzeko isn't the kind of player for a rotational squad, he needs to play every week.

At the start of the season he was getting regular games and thrived.........but he can't do this coming off the bench for 15 mins.

Unfortunately, i think he will leave in the summer.
