Have I just committed the ultimate sacrilege? Well hear me out. OK, not at our expense, my ideal weekend would be for them to finish 4th and us 3rd. Obviously we might not even make the top 4 which would be awful, but if we do get that 3rd place I'd prefer spurs to be behind us over Newcastle.
The reasons why:
1. The NLD has simply been on another level recently and I want it to continue. I'm enjoying the close rivalry. I'd love to see us play them in the CL and have that derby get increased exposure.
2. Despite them being a bunch of 's, spurs are a well run club that have built a good side the right way, and I think they deserve it.
3. Mike Ashley is a He obviously feels his decision to sack Hughton has been vindicated this season and it will be much more so if they make the CL. I couldn't stand to see that smug at the end of the season with a giant grin on his face.
Does anyone else want spurs to make the CL?

While Spurs joy is never high on my list of priorities, they are indeed a well run club and play football the right way. Plus my dream Champions

It's not that clear cut, I want us to get stronger. I think the benefits of a more global exposure to our rivalry would help us do that.

Those two <surfers> just show why don't want little Spurs anywhere near the CL.

Imagine a NLD semi-final in the Champions League. I'd fackin love that, if I'm honest.
