Season Summary - Kelvin Davis

The board is quiet as always but I wanted to get people's thoughts on each player within the team. Did they have a good season? Would you hav picked them? and can they establish themselve in the promise land that is the Premier League?

What better place to start then with number 1 and club captain Kelvin Davis!

For me 'one of' the players of the season without question as a goalkeeper you can go from hero to zero in seconds and Kelvin certainly established himself as the hero. So many great saves, so many games to mention but the one game that will stick in all Saints fans minds was the game against Leeds at Elland rd, I can only assume Kelvin has been in a few Leeds fans nightmares since!

As for next season and his future I feel we need look no further then Kelvin Davis for next season. With the right mixture of experience, quality and team spirit why would you replace someone who gave so much this season surely you wouldn't. I only hope that he finishes his career with us after the dedication and love he showed when the Hammers came calling, it says alot about a person especially in this day and age!

One man doesn't make a team but Kelvin Davis makes a good case!
