blue clay, red clay, fast grass, slow grass, indoor hard, outdoor hard...
Tennis is beautiful on all those surfaces.
Struggle is not.

amri,
you seem to have a penchant for getting in trouble on forums but I still have to say that in many ways you are one of my favorite Nadal fan posters.
You are smart, passionate, have a sense of humor, and you do not get offended when the discussion overheats.
Enjoyed reading your post here.

Talking about "The thing of beauty" anyone see Serena Williams crush the worlds number one? That was impressive stuff and we welcome her back for the grand slams

Yes and I just mentioned it on another thread (Madrid final thread)... I don't think Madrid looks any of the slams though but it is true that when Serena is at her best, all the recent number ones look like amateurs...

Agreed sphaire and I remember long ago saying that she could sit in a wheelchair, on court, and beat Wozniaki
She is the best player in the ladies games by miles and her sister is number two.
Where is Venus these days?

I was asking myself the same question. I didn't even see her in the stands to watch her sister. It's a shame she has that disease as to be a top athlete you need to be well hydrated all the time...

For me, one Williams sister is enough
I used to prefer Venus in the past, but have now switched to the one and only Serena!
