Dean Lewington has said that the team are up for it, I am not sure what IT is, it sure was NOT for the game yesterday. That was a pathetic excuse for a game of football. If that was being up for it I will be looking forward to playing in the second division in 2013/14
The team has let us down AGAIN, prove me wrong on tuesday, but I will not hold my breath.
THE TEAM ARE UP FOR IT

Dartford - Well put.
...and tomorrow we win the play off semis. Come on MK.

good to step back like that dartford and put it into perspective. 8 years is no time at all in the grand scheme of things.
I do think its a bit harsh to say Robbo has not achieved anything. He had to re-mould the team, and let go of players who in retrospect were making up the numbers - and he has not been able to expand the squad with the quality he wants given the money he has had to spend - yet he has got us to the play offs in 2 successive seasons.
I lkie the suggestion of Hope Powell, Furz - would sit well with our ability to keep suprising people.
We can but continue to push to get younger fans into the ground, and be enthusiastic ambassadors ourseleves to all and sundry. I continue to try and drag people along, and those that do experience the ground and watch us play enjoy the experience.
We will only get bigger but it will take another generation to start getting the roots that others enjoy.
So roll on tomorrow night and at least go out in a blaze of glory and score some goals COYD

My only problem with Robbo is that when attractive football is not working, e has nothing else. Look at the match on Saturday, 60% possession and only 4 shots on goal. Huddersfield has 40% and 4 shots but 2 of them were goals.
MK Dons do play attractive football, but at times teams need to do something the opposition hasn't prepared for as a way of turning things around
Remember MK Dons being 3-0 up at Brentford and Brenford adapted their tactics and got a 3-3 draw. Did Robbo acknowledge it was a great plan? No he sneared thats not proper football. Had he changed the way the team played when they were 3-2 up to counteract the new tactics, MK Dons would have had home advantage on the second leg of the play off

As I said in my original post was unhappy with the turn out on Saturday, bit of a mystery really as we got almost 16,000 at home against Sheff Utd, also the QPR game was almost 20,000, perhaps the early kick off and being on Sky didnt help.
My home town Maidstone had a Football League club from 1989 till 1991, till they went bust, Maidstone is currently the biggest town in England without a league club, we have a new stadium opening this year, we havent had our own ground since 1989.
We get crowds of 300 now when we were in the league we got over 10 times that.
The problem Maidstone has is similar to MK in that Maidstone has lost a whole generation of supporters, who now support bigger clubs, MK and Maidstone must try to attract supporters away from their main club and thats not easy the lower down the leagues you are.
As people have said its got to start with the kids, as the Dons have only been in MK since 2002 they havent got generations of support to call upon, like Huddersfield has for example.
Milton Keynes is a hotchpotch of people from all over the UK so this will take time.
With regards to Robinson he may move on as clubs will always sack their managers as Birmingham have just done, and clubs will always be on the lookout for up and coming managers, if Robbo doesnt see an improvement in crowds and money for new players in the near future he will be off, and we will be back to square one.

Dartford, Maidstone isn't the largest town in Kent without a league club, and there are many places along theSouth coast which are bigger without a league club a well.

Hats off to all the fans who made it up to Huddersfield today - we could hear you loud and clear...great game and shows the level of skill at the top of this league - this would easlily have graced the final at wembley.
Listening again to Karl in the pre match interview - I still get the impression he will be on his way - I hope not as am sure we will go up next season COYD

I know the result wasnt what we all wanted but look at the football we played. Ive taken many people to the Dons this season and they cant believe the way we play.Lets hope someone watching tonight with a bit of wedge was impressed enough to invest. If HFC didnt have Rhodes they would have been mid table at best

But we have, and we aren't. Great effort tonight though by mk. All best for next season. Got championship nailed on next season I reckon!

Maidstone is the largest town in the UK without a league club, population of the Maidstone area is around 150,000.
I live 6 miles from Maidstone but come under Tonbridge and Malling,
Larkfield, Aylesford, Ditton, both Mallings and Snodland probably about 50,000.

But if you take Eastbourne for instance with comparable radii, the population totals well over 260,000
